This one's better I think. Trying to take to heart Edos advice, and using colours I like instead of ones I think I need. Not used to mediterranian views demands different atmosphere. But less drybrush and softer edges and light made it more harmonious?

I'm still trying to find "my" colors, and I think that every region has its own colors; Edo's colors perfectly suit Holland, because of the way the grey skies interact with the landscape. Mediterranean climates have a different palette, and so on. It's always difficult for a newcomer to a region to get the colors right, but then its precisely that change in local colors that make new places so exciting for artists. Van Gogh was amazed by the light in Arles. Someone from Arles would probably be mesmerized by the light in Holland :)
