Chugach glacier in 11x15

This painting is an attempt to capture the landscape and memories of our trip to Alaska.

I am happy with how the mountains and glacier turned out but believe the foreground and middle ground are bit light in points of interest that draw the eye. Part of the reason is the limitation in my painting/composition skills to make this area interesting. I debated taking some artistic liberty and adding some pine trees on the sides in either middle ground or foreground like the sketch

Looking for suggestions for improving the composition of this painting.  All other feedback is welcome too
