The Remains of the Snow
What I wanted to "say" was the feel of the day, the contrast of the bright sunny patches with the cold shadowed areas...the patches of unmelted snow that lay in the crevices and the rush of the cold water...the mistiness that lay around the evergreens. I may have overdone it with the contrasts.
Thoughts? Suggestions?

Yes, that might be why, and combined with hard edges delineating those blocks, or areas of colour? I like it!
