I've been absent for a while but am now back trying to paint. This is an attempt at making a miniature painting. The actual image is just 2" X 3". It seems to open up some possibilities like making your good paper go further and the ability to complete more paintings in a shorter amount of time. It still makes you pay attention to composition, color, values, and technique, but it doesn't hurt as much when you have to throw one in the trash! Plus it displays nicely on the side table.
