Snow Covered Lake
We can get pretty deep snows in this area, even in March. On one occasion I can remember a big snow on Easter Sunday in the first week of April. Good thing I love snow!
We have sort of a running joke here in the forum about credit card rocks, but I thought I would illustrate how I use a painting knife not a card, the same kind of knife that acrylic and oil painters use. I love the joking around, but I thought I would give some new material to work with, like about rock cruelty 'cause I knife my rocks LOL. I have included a photo of the fatal instrument in case anyone else is interested in playing the game, as in "Grainne did the fatal deed in the Studio with the Painting Knife," for those of you who’ve played Clue.
Quite honestly, I wouldn’t know how else to get that craggy effect of the boulders that edge the lake, with their rough textures and subtly varied colors left exposed by the snow.

Well, the "Rock Legend" label is okay, I guess....but the "girly" me would rather he had called me a Snow Queen. 😉
Can't play a guitar, just the piano and clarinet...
