I photographed this tiny river in April, 2023. It runs though a vast range of volcanic mountains and hills in southwestern New Mexico. I loved the old Sycamore trees growing along the banks of the river, that were just beginning to leaf out. I use mixed pigments on a sheet of Strathmore 500 rough paper, which was a joy to paint on.
