Tuscany in Oktober
Last week, I spent one week painting in Tuscany. Here two examples: the first one, I painted in decent colours a street scene of the nice village of Montescudaio, and the next one is the church of this place and I tried some stronger colours and let the paint flow.

Really like the composition and simple shapes in the streetscape, but the granulated shadow wash sets this painting apart creating a strong tonal impact that adds to the design. Lovely work Birgit.
