This watercolour painting is made a while ago from a picture I took in 2013, quite a few years before I started watercolour painting.

I am aware Oliver Pyle made a number of paintings from the same viewpoint. They inspired me to make this painting with his paintings as guidance but using my own photograph. I think it worked out quite well with the focus on the houses and the Seven Sisters in the background. It was painted on a half sheet.
