Barn and Front Yard

We built this barn thirty years ago for our sheep and horses. Last October we moved to a new house (no barn). I have lots of photos of the old place and I'd like to paint this view from the front porch. I did a quick "sketch" for the values but am unsure how to capture the beautiful distant fall colors.and was hoping for some advice. I've included the reference photo.

I know I have the tree slope wrong. I was mostly interested in the barn and playing around with fall colors on the distant hill.

The distant fall colours...

I would make light and a dark green.

Both made of phtalo blue raw and burnt sienna, paint the distant hills with those mixes, and then drop in some pure raw and burnt sienna in the wet wash. When you do it like this you stay in harmony.
