I have just come back to painting after 30 years (!) away. I went for a nice winter walk today and took my paints along. I stopped along a frozen snow covered creek, scribbled a bit, wet the paper with a little sponge, dabbed off the extra, and quickly started dropping colour onto the paper. I tried to add some details as the paper dried but it did dry surprisingly fast. My first post here, first time painting outside (below freezing) and first time sharing.
