Hints of Fall Colors
While walking in the meadows nearby last week, I was drawn to the swaths of yellow from the cone flowers now in bloom. I tried to capture the feeling of this harbinger of fall. I'm including a reference photo and the painting. Suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. I was unsatisfied with the foreground. I probably didn't think through the composition enough to address the boring foreground in the reference photo. I'll try your suggestion.
