"Hardley Reflections"
This is a painting that I just finished of Hardley staithe on the Norfolk Broads, close to where I live. It a really beautiful place which completes at a local farm. If you walk along the staithe past the confluence you can walk along to Hardley Mill which is the only fully functional Mill on the river Yare. It's so peaceful and I'm still enjoying learning landscape painting, well the landscape where I live which is mostly rivers and flood lands. But, we do boast big open skies. At this time of the year our rivers begin to get quiet again as the people on their holidays leave for their own homes and Autumn brings about a chill in the air, the need for coats on those early morning walks.. this was one of those mornings although the sky was clear, it was cold. I'm looking forward to the lanscape changing and bringing fresh new ideas and colour mixes onto my pallette. Anyways.. Happy Autumn equinox.

Whow, you have done a great job, i like it! The ships, the light, the colours bring the mood of beginning autumn to the viewer. Fine work!
