My aim was to keep it simple and avoid fiddling around. Have I succeeded? I question myself, is it finished?

It's a nice, loose impression, and I think it's fine to leave it that way. One small note: The road there may actually be straight (I've never been there), but I think a slight curve in the road would harmonize well with the curved foreground.
