I returned last week from a longer stay on Kefalonia and had planned to turn my sketches from there into some paintings. But no, as soon as I arrived here, I was inspired by the beginning of autumn colours, and I immediately had to capture my impressions in some sketches. Again, I painted them on the back of various failed watercolours. I limited myself to 6-7 pigments. I like doing quick sketches like this, and I tried to use as few loose brushstrokes as possible.
