The start of Spring

Well it is nearly March and though we have had deep snow in early March, today is a clear bright sunny day, the first it seems for weeks. I thought I would celebrate with a picture of local fields and trees. The little bird at the top of the oak tree is a song thrush. For those who have not heard the song, it is a crazy, repetitive sequence of short bursts of song repeated usually four times and then onto the next bit of song. I much prefer the blackbird's song a little later in the year. All comments and advice gratefully received.

Thanks Heidi, your comments are appreciated. I think the foreground does need a bit more work, it got a bit left out after all the rigger work on the tree!
