Seascape on Seawhite Paper

Erik has started a great post on the types paper we’re using, and although I normally stick with 100% cotton, I sometimes use non-cotton Seawhite 350gsm for smaller paintings. This is just A5 in size but it’s sometimes less stressful to paint something small where there aren’t too many elements to the scene. Quite enjoyed painting this, although my seagulls could be a lot better.

Wonderful picture! You have a great talent and eye for skies and water... the hardest to master in my view. You shouldn't fear larger sizes at all if you can pull this off in such a small format!
