Watercolour Sharing

Something from Australia

Hi. This is my first post. I've been quietly admiring all your work for quite a while now, and thought I would share mine. I'm a beginner watercolour painter but have done a little sporadic painting with other mediums in the past. I attended some local classes recently and loved learning all the wonderful techniques and effects, however, I have yet to fully incorporate these in my paintings. I feel like I paint with watercolour, rather than do "watercolour painting". Do you know what I mean? I love seeing all the beautiful english landscapes, but I love the colours and ruggedness of my own country. I hope this captures a little bit of that. Critique welcome.

Nice work fellow Aussie, hard to mistake those gum trees. I find getting the colour of leaves quite a challenge, love
