I have to admit. I am hooked on plein air. I brought block and paints to the woods today.

There on the mire, spindely pines and tiny birches are covered with moss and lichen.

I filled small cups with tubecolour, so I had familiar colours. And left my glasses at home, so that it would not be worth tweeking fine details. I will now buy halfpans from my prefered brand. And see if I can transfer the feeling on to paper now that I am indoors again.
