Benefits of a limited palette

I have started on this yesterday, it is not finished and you can still see some masking fluid on it etc (poles, fences gates)

I am also considering adding some figures, maybe one with a ladder and another pushing something down the road. We will see 😂😸

But I have posted this just for you too see how much can be painted with -burnt sienna, raw sienna, french ultramarine and tiny bit of Aureoline, which helped with brighter greens. Only for basic colours, and so much variety!

Let me know what you think so far.

I really like this painting! It almost leans toward a folk-sy illustration aesthetic but with a fresh realistic look, I stared quite awhile! I really enjoy experimenting with different primaries, especially tinkering with the red and blue selection. Using Raw Umber Violet, magenta, raw sienna,or burnt sienna towards one or 2 of the primaries is really fun to play with!
