Gap of Dunloe

I decided to paint this 7 x 7 landscape today of The Gap of Dunloe in County Kerry, Ireland, from a photo I had taken there several years ago. It was challenging because of the teensy gap that had very light clouds already. So the contrast wasn't exactly what I wanted and lifting the small strip and the U shaped gap was hard in such a confined space. I'm not thrilled with the woods in the middle but I don't mind the ones to the left. I think the closest mountain needs something but it was pretty barren. I think the distant mountains are too dark But that's what color they were in the photo. ๐Ÿ˜€
