Blue Ridge
A view into the Shenandoah valley along the Blue Ridge Mountains. Almost every vista is a study in atmospheric perspective. I could just make out some buildings of the settlement in the valley. I tried to play the vibrant greens of early spring against the blue horizon and sky.

Patty, I am literally waiting on the paint to dry on a similar scene from a trip last fall to Ashville, NC :). I am struggling with a couple of areas and your lovely painting has provided guidance for how to proceed. Thank you for posting!
