I'm exploring how landscape can reflect our moods, hopes, dreams, fears and regrets. I'm drawn to this time between day and night to express this. I was also inspired by a Whistler painting a friend introduced me to the other week. This uses lamp black, indanthrene blue, burnt sienna, orange and indian yellow. I used my masking fluid pen in combination with a damp synthetic flat to blend in the edges of the lights to create this atmosphere.
