This is a practice piece for the one and only commission I have done. I unearthed it when having a clear out and the reverse side has of course been painted on. Surprising sometimes the effect you can get when you stick something in a frame. This is about 200 x 300 mm and on a piece of practice paper. The final commission was a full sheet of 650gsm Fabriano which terrified me at first until I realised how forgiving the extra weight is to work with. I also cooled down the final palette and added a figure in a boat.
