The Slough
I photographed this group of trees in October, shortly after sunrise on a bird walk in Cape May, New Jersey. The painting was completed last week I must say that I felt it went really well. I used a hot press paper from Fluid 100 because it was so smooth.

Yes, the trees at the edge are in the water and they are mostly dead. Note the muddy bank in the foreground.
