This is and will be a subject I paint often due to it being on the acreage we live on. I am realizing that I do not desire to paint it exactly as is but in a way that conveys how I feel at that moment in time and or to bring attention to what stands out in that moment. The foreground represents the flowers that are currently in bloom, which are these beautiful indian paintbrushes and little purple flowers on wild chive plants. I am hoping to relay serenity, joy and the warm glow of a lovely sun setting behind me as I paint.
