Could not paint for a while and really missed it, so now trying to get back to it. It did feel like learning all over again.

My freind visited Iceland not so long ago and I decided to use as a reference this very simple view that she took (I have her permission).

First, on a very cheap paper I did some color mixing trials. This one more dramatic, but i liked it.

Then I went to my water color paper, thoug still quite small.

I think I used too much water everywhere and didnt controll the wash. So I tried again.

I know its not perfect and still very simple, but I like the result. And it feels nice to paint again.
