A row of trees

In the middle of our village is a 19th century chapel behind which is a cemetery on the southern edge of which is this row of trees, a row of pines at the top and the deciduous trees below. I see it most days and decided I would have a go at painting it. The arrival of the chapel meant the closure of the pub (next door) and eventually the shrinking of a once thriving village, Still that was over a 100 years ago and it is nice and peaceful now!

Very nice, Jon. I like your simpistic approach in this. The ground and trees accompany the vital sky very well.
