Outside cycling and painting
Spent a couple of days cycling in the dunes and painting on the spot. I paint more loosely outside and I like the unpredictability. Some worked better than others. There is this strange 'artwork' on the edge of the dunes - these roughly built concrete towers - a bit of an eyesore to be honest, but interesting enough to paint.

This is my experience as well. When the painting works out, it's very satisfying though. I recently discovered couple good painting spots at Portland that is easily accessible by bike. Can't wait to do that!
