Where I live Spring is a riot of pinks and greens and yellows and whites against a blue sky....forsythia, azaleas, apple and cherry blossoms, and rhododendron and dogwood.

I haven't had a lot of time to paint lately, but I didn't want the season to pass without "saying" something about it in paint. So here I tried in my sketch to give a sense of the brilliance of the bright sunshine of a Spring day. All the color surely brightens one's spirits 😊
