First signs of Autumn in the dunes

With all the colours of autumn beginning to appear, along with this late heatwave we are having, I took advantage of a wonderful golden hour yesterday out painting in the dunes. I use a bit of splatter to express the swathes of small flowers.

I painted this entirely with my princeton quill aqua elite brush. I really am in love with these brushes, they are so light and hold such a great point, this is definitely my favourite brush of all. Edo uses these and I can understand completely why. They aren't particularly expensive, so if anyone is in need of a brush, I would recommend taking a look at them.

Silent, paceful, very nice, clean washes!... these are the characteristics of your work. You have a special talent to highlight the depth!

Although, if it was a warm, sunny day, as you mentioned, the greens couldn't have be a little bit more warmer?
