Local pond
This is a pond I always see when I come down the highway just outside of town. Occasional moose can be seen here. There is an overlook on the other side of the highway that allows you to look down in the pond and see the mountains in the distance. Was nice to get outside and paint again, even if 40 degrees F.

I too have some issues with greens sinking into paper and resembling algae. It happens a lot with Arches NOT cold press. I am starting to get annoyed...no matter how careful I am, the least residual dampness seems to suck the life out of greens on this block of paper. I am NOT impressed with the NOT paper.
