This is my first completed composition since signing up to Olivers Patreon Course. I took alot of what he said regarding light on dark, dark on light and tried to capture some interest. I think it was actually a "not to gull" moment.. but there they are now!! Lol. I've been spending alot of time at this beach at sunrise just recently as I'm no longer housebound and I now have a car after 7 years without one. Its truly making all the difference. This is the first completed project in weeks that hasn't been ripped off my board in frustration and I really do feel it's because I've made a true connection to the place. Oliver speaks alot of truth in that copying photos only isn't the best way to lanscape paint. Anyways I really enjoyed this painting this one.
