Summer in the Odenwald
A typical landscape in the Odenwald, my home region. I love these gentle, wooded hills with their fields and meadows. I definitely need to paint those more often!
Paper: Arches CP 300g
Colours: ultramarine, cobalt blue, pure yellow, transparent yellow, burnt and raw sienna, burnt umber and some prussian blue for the conifers

It seems the two replies to Steve and Edo didn't get through, so I’m trying this way instead…
@Steve A: Thank you very much for your kind comment, Steve. I often miss the right moment to paint the distant trees onto the still-damp paper. The "softening technique" is a good solution for me.
