Beautiful pics, Olly, thanks for sharing! And a great testament to the fact that you don't have to be a native brit to feel connected to the British landscape. Grand oak trees and farmed fields are common sights in most countries, and for me, attributes like light, perspective, viewpoint etc, can often be equally as inspiring as being there, in the scene. As long as you "feel" it, as long as the image resonates within you, I would make a point that one could paint a scene like this quite successfully, if you've got the skills needed. I might have a go on one or two of these, for practice!
