I decided to try and find a field that always draws my attention on my way to my daughters house that I can see from the highway. I couldn’t get to the exact location so decided

to pull of the dirt road at this location. Painted in my car in my sketchbook with water brushes. It was cloudy day without a lot of contrast. Mount Tom in the distance towards the end of it’s vibrant Autumn colors. Challenging to use warm colors in the distance and not sure I was able to achieve the arial perspective I was hoping for. A sketch is for exploring and I achieved that.
