A few years ago we stayed at Many Glacier Hotel on Swiftcurrent Lake in Montana’s Glacier National Park. From our room, I took two photos of Mount Grinnell Point looking over Swiftcurrent Lake….one at sunrise and one later in the day. The light changes dramatically there. I decided to paint a series showing the light changes from sunrise, to daylight, to sunset. Doing multiple versions of the same scene was an interesting challenge and a great learning experience.
