Lavender Field Cottage

I thought about sharing this landscape that I painted from a reference photo I found on the internet (no indication that it has copyright).
I still have some difficulty mixing the greens and painting vegetation. The Cottage also appears to be detached from the rest of the painting.
However, I'm happy with the overall end result.

I'm looking at your lovely painting, especially the sky and the softened hills in the background. I've watched other artists spattering paint to create texture and I think your lavender and grasses would look more lively with a judicious spatter including guache.
