Stormy Texas Hilltop
I live in central Texas just west of Austin in what is called the Texas Hill Country. This extends into west Texas proper and the area has as one would expect many hills. They make great subjects to paint. I spotted this one about this time last year and made a quick sketch of it and filed it away. I painted this today after seeing Edo Hannema's latest Youtube video which is very very similar except his painting has a sunny sky and I assume is in the Netherlands. I dug out my reference sketch and had a go at it.

You have a lovely atmospheric sky and I like the general earthy tones of the whole piece. I too watched Edo's video, and the one suggestion I could make for you would be to have some suggestions of subtle trunks and branches in your trees, especially with some branches weaving through those nice sky holes you have wisely left in the trees.
