From dark to light
This picture I startet with the shadows in a dark tone, let it dry and then I work over it with the lighter tones. Normally wise I work in this manner for subjects in a rusty or shabby looking, but I wanted to try this in a landscape secene. What do you think about it?

Its lovely, you have achieved some rather pleasing effects, i like especially your right hand foreground and the lights shining through. well done.
