I took this photo yesterday during a walk in a nearby park with the thought, "I wonder if I can capture this?" I had not yet included a home in any of my previous attempts over the 8 months since I started painting. Last evening I drew the outlines on a 10x8 peice of Arches 140 CP. Today I dove in and 90 minutes later this was the result. I tried to employ what I've learned from Ollie's tutorials so far. I tend to be impatient and probably hurried some bits. Would have taken more time if I was doing it for someone else. But I stopped this when I knew I'd just be fiddling. Took photo with my camera in the kitchen (best place I've found so far) but the colors are not exact to original. I've seen feedback on other posts that has both informed and challenged me along my growth curve, so looking forward to sincere critique.
