Ha, mine are not as nice as yours. But thank you for asking. I started attempting wc 3 years ago coming from no art background and quickly realized I needed to learn to draw, so I've mostly been working on that rather than painting. I did post a heavy handed wc in this forum early on at https://www.oliverpyle.com/forum/image-sharing/central-pennsylvania?searchTerm=Central+Pennsylvania and for grins I'm including a creek sketch from a couple of years ago where I was trying to figure out how to paint rocks. And it has what were supposed to be fishermen in the distance, though they look more like horses. 🙂 My original account on this forum was locked by the admins- never found out why- so I made an new account and have mostly only viewed and liked images since then. Something about your images caught my eye and I ventured to comment.

Wonderful rocks and action of the fisherman. I really like the scratched out lines- the skips in them make the line sparkle a bit. But I can understand wanting to try all the solutions!

Love it. You've definitely portrayed cold with a sense of spring. And I love the lead in and bold contrasts to create the focal point. And the simple yet gorgeous sky.

It's been a fun series to see. Your loose and fresh style is fun and I especially enjoy the scratched out fishing lines. Great figure in this one.
