Finally the tripod was finished and the weather cooled down so that I could try it out. I did not go out amongst people but drove deep into the forrest. This to gain confidence and experience setting up without having people asking what I'm doing. All according to 2 of my favourite plein air artists.

What does not show in the pictures is the little radio. It works as a bear-repellent. What was created is of minor importance here. I loved the tripod! Even though windy conditions it stood firmly. And the whole kit goes in a nylon bag and weighs 1.5 kg. The boards weighs close to nothing and fits in my backpack. That one weighs more!
