Just a quick note to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and a pleasant and restful holiday period.

A big 'thank you' to all of you that have signed up to the forum this year and helped to make it a nice place to exchange ideas, thoughts and painting/landscape experiences. My participation has been rather infrequent in the last month or so, as my book writing has drawn to a conclusion - it will be with my publisher and editor by the end of next week. It will then be a back-and-forth game of literary tennis but as soon as there is some clarity on a printing and release date (out of my hands) you will all be the first to know!

More YouTube content will be coming your way too: we'll finish off the sky series and then I will be introducing some new ideas and exercises to help us hone our skills and more location visits too. In addition, expect some exclusive in-depth content next year on the important subject of painting planning and design - how we get from subject inspiration to making a painting that delivers that inspiration, with strategies on how to organise your approach and wash sequences.
