Trying to paint something every day.
Well, maybe not every day. But often enough. When I have to much going on to commit to a serious motif, I do these. I hope that as winter comes around that I shall have time to do a real project along the lines of Olivers new series. Maybe on a motif much to difficult to me in order to really challenge myself.
This little painting was inspired by Edos lovely paintings of windmills. And is a figment of imagination. We do not have them up here in the north of Sweden, but I remember them from childhood-holidays on Öland.

I hope I at least managed some interesting washes?! Because that needs lots of practise.

I really like your title "Trying to paint something everyday" ... I know you said it is not everyday, but a good goal. I'm "painting" every other day. I said "painting" because most of the time I'm just making shape and mark with different color and paint consistency... and watch the paint drying.. and paint mixing on the paper and might add another stroke here or there. not picture/painting forming at the end, but very relaxing and fun to see the different effect. I guess watercolor do paint itself :)
