Hi I live in a forest and the trees are so tall I can't even capture them with my phone camera. Wondering how anyone else has gone about a painting that has the perspective of tall trees without having them look like they're looming overhead (as they do on my phone I think it's a camera lens issue). Here is a photo with my dog for perspective, he's 60lbs, the trees feel like they're looming to me. How to paint them with proper perspective?
