I do much the same. I draw with my brush. I might put in a few marks to locate things and work the composition out. I admire people with great drawing skills and I love pen and wash works. I used to have good drawing skills, but alas, somewhere along the way, I laid the pencil down in favor of the brush. Perhaps I should pick up the pencil again!
