Introduction
Hi there! This is my second post. I put a post up yesterday and belatedly realised that perhaps I should have introduced myself first, so here goes:
My name is Felicity and I am a middle-aged female residing a couple of hours north of Sydney, Australia. My only art education is what I have managed to read or watch in my own time. I had to stop working a few years ago for health reasons, so I have a fair amount of time on my hands. I always loved drawing but never pursued any visual art formal education. I have a scientific/realism leaning in addition to loving various different artistic activities. Since stopping work, I started doing some drawing again, and, from there, finally took the plunge and started to explore watercolour painting, which is something I have always been curious about. When doing things, I usually tend towards the slow and very well thought out rather than the spontaneous and chaotic. I have only completed five or six small (a couple are tiny) watercolours so far, none of which are perfect, but all of which I’m quite pleased with. I am always very happy to receive critique or suggestions or answer questions about anything I produce (as long as people aren’t just being rude or mean). I have very little ego in regard to my art as I know I am a beginner and I have just about everything to learn yet. I thought I would include a picture of my paintings so far - feel free to comment! I look forward to interacting with everyone here!

A couple of you might recognise the last picture from my post yesterday, it is a sketch that I have done (and had fun with) from Oliver’s latest YouTube video series. The beach is from my own photo of one of my favourite places and the landscape with the gum tree is from imagination.

… hmmmmm! It doesn’t seem to be letting me edit the original post. I will explore a bit further …
