Pigments

Hi communit, i need your experience. I started with watercolor paintings three month ag. Last week i discovered the book from Jeanne Dobie „making color sing„. She prefers to work with pure pigment colors like aureolin yellow, rose madder genuine, cobalt blue and viridian. These colors dont get muddy, when you mix them or work in layers. She said Raw sienna is a tertiar color, cause it is made of three Pigment, it loose ist transparency, when you mix it. I have two questions: whow can i know how much Pigments are in a color?

and what yellow is the best for skies? Oliver told in his Tutorial in YouTube about color, that he often uses naples yellow, which is an opaque color. I am confused. Can you help me?

Just wanted to add another pigment resource I've just discovered, which people might find useful - Dr Oto Kano has recently released a website database of thousands of watercolour paints from all the main brands, organised by brand or pigment: https://otokano.com/ Here's her launch video that explains more about it: https://youtu.be/NIW4PYeU2_M

and here's a short review by Steve Mitchell, which is where I learnt about it: https://youtu.be/3WhWe2KuSj0?t=1345
