My Introduction
Hello all, my name is Bruce, I am 72 and just started to paint in watercolor in earnest about three years ago. My instruction has come from watching countless hours of my favorite YouTube channels, one of which is Oliver Pyle's which led me to this forum. In my life I have traveled extensively and taken 100's and 100's of photographs and these are now my references as I try to turn them (some of them) into paintings. I live on the Oregon coast which also inspires me. I am attaching three of my earlier pics from about three years ago.
I have a question: is there a difference in posting paintings in "general discussion" as opposed to "image sharing" ?

Welcome, Bruce! It’s inspiring to hear you began watercolor at 72 and are turning your travel photos and beautiful Oregon coast scenes into paintings. Regarding your question, “Image Sharing” is typically for posting artwork to showcase and receive feedback, while “General Discussion” is more for broader topics and conversations. Keep painting and sharing! And if you ever need academic support, Studyunicorn even helps with Do My Chemistry Homework.
