This was a real challenge to me. I started by doing a couple of sketches. I liked the path and the shadows over it, but thought I needed something more, so I put in a few figures to tell a story of an evening walk with fourlegged friends. I also opened up the background to feature the sea rather than the lake in the photo. Not so sure about the top third though. Maybe a crop to a square format would help? Anyhow - thanks for the challenge, it made me think.
